Scholarship Requirements

All graduating seniors at Vicksburg High School and Warren Central High School with a 2.5 GPA or higher are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants are required to submit the following to generaljohnmbrownscholarship@gmail.com:

• Application form

• Current transcript to verify GPA

• Letter[s] of recommendation/endorsement to verify extracurricular activities (at a minimum)

• Essay

• Short Biography and Headshot Photo (not required to be professional)

• All files submitted should include the applicant’s name and type of document (e.g. John_Brown_Essay.doc or John_Brown_Letter_of_Recommendation1.doc)

The deadline for receipt of materials for application for the 2024-2025 academic year is 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on Friday, April 18, 2025.
